It has been a while since my last post. Sorry I have been MIA. It has been a rough week. On Aug 19th, we had a terrible storm and our computer got fried during the storm. We lost a lot more that night than a computer. I don't ever want to repeat that night again. Thanks to my wonderful hubby, I am back up and blogging again. In that week with no computer. I decided to clean my craft room again. It took me 3 days to clean it. Yes 3 days. I have actually come to the conclusion that I have way too much stuff in there. I have so much stuff in there that I could probably open a store. So guess I need to get my butt in gear, start crafting and get my selling blog up and running. Well I already created my selling blog but I still have a little tweaking to do. Now all I need to do is start crafting.
After I somewhat finished cleaning my craft room. Hubby and I started to clean the garage out. I found even more crafting stuff out there. I have come to realize that I need to stay away from the Salvation Army and any other thrift store and flea markets until I get some stuff finished. I hope I can restrain myself from shopping. Its so addictive. Who doesn't love a good bargain. I know I do!!!!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and stay safe!

A New Look and Jo Anns
As you all can tell I have gotten into the Halloween spirit just a tad bit early. I just love Halloween. The colors are just so vibrant. Well maybe not the black but I love that color. Plus black goes with everything. I hope everyone enjoys my new look for the season. I hope no one take offense to the black cat and her pentagram collar. I just fell in love with that cat when I saw it. I even have a lazy black cat graphic at the bottom of my page. They remind me so much of my black cat "Pandora"
Now on to the more interesting stuff. I went to JoAnns yesterday with my $10.00 card in hand. I was just so over whelmed with their selection of seasonal fabric that I played it safe and got 9 yards of muslin at $1.50 a yard and a quarter yard of black and orange homespun. When I was ready to check out. I handed the cashier my card. When she told me my total was 80 cents. I about passed out. I got 9 and 1/4 yards of fabric for 80 cents. Can we a give a big WOO HOO! .....lol That is the best I have ever done in there. With my luck, it will probably be the last time too.....lol
I hope everyone has a great week!

Cute as a Button
Well actually they are buttons. They are so darn cute. I went to JoAnns to buy some thread. Honestly I did. Well I actually bought a little more than thread. I was such a bad girl. I got some warm and natural batting and orange and a moss green looking wool felt to make some pumpkins with. It was on sale. You just cant turn down a good sale of on wool felt. I saved 30% off a yard. Of course there were a few other little things off the clearance rack like shelf brackets for 97 cents. and a needle inserter with brush for 50 cents. Cant beat 97 and 50 cents goodies. Back to the buttons. I just had to buy these. They are so adorable and better yet 50% off.
Isnt the snowman eyes and carrot nose cute? I just had to have them when I saw it.
I also had to have these little wood tag buttons too. As soon as I saw them. I had some any ideas started running thru my head. I actually had to drag myself out of there today. That was hard!....lol.
After I paid for my items. The cashier handed me a card and said I hope this helps the next time. It was a $10.00 off any purchase over $10.00 for next week. You know where I'm going on pay day!!!!
Have a Great Weekend!

Livingroom Pics...
Just thought I would share some pics of my living room. I change my living room for every holiday and season. I just stuck with the Americana look for summer since all the holidays are associated with red, white and blue.
I still have my winnings from Lisa @ The Moonlit Stitch still on display. I don' teven care if they are Easter. I just think they are too cute to put away.
I need a new coffee table but I think I'll probably hold on to this one for life. It has sooo many memories to go with it. I would like to paint it and cover up some of the really ugly scratch from all the horse play that went on around it and on it...lol I also have some salt dough ornies that I won from Rachel @ Somewhere In The Middle on display.
This is where I have a lot of my fun decorating for the holidays. I got the white table from my dad, the green barn shutters came from a yard sale years ago for only $5 each. I bought 3 of them but I only have 2 on display. My winnings from Carol @ Firecracker Kid Primitives and Rachel @ Somewhere in the Middle. Don't they look perfect on the table.
My Willow tree angels. A co worker got me started on collecting them. She gave me my first one as a Christmas gift. Then hubby would surprise me with them time to time or for Christmas.. My favorite was when I got off work one day. In the driver seat was a bag with a card. It was 2 angels with a card. Wasn't that so sweet of him?
Here are my watermelon slices from Lisa @ The Moonlit Stitch. they were part of our summer swap.
The deer under the table use to belong to my dad. I gave them to him one year as a Christmas gift. When he passed away, my mother gave them back to me.
My tv and sideboard that needs a new paint job. Yes, were watching SpongeBob.....lol
I just love this. I won it from Rachel @ Somewhere In The Middle. I temporary added the USA .
These are a few of my kerosene lanterns. I just started to collect them. My favorite one so far is the purple one with the finger holder.
My stool from Carol @ Firecracker Kid Primitives I made the fabric star and added to my lamp.
I got this at the Salvation Army and gave it a make over. It use to be brown with the word Keys on it.
My dad found me this little phone table in the sitting next to the dumpster where he use to work at. All I did to it was just scraps the old finish off and left it as is. He must of gave that to me about 15 yrs ago. I will never get rid of it. I cherish everything my dad gave me and always will.
My poor poor end table. Its getting a make over when the coffee table gets on. I also made the stars in the wagon. My awesome stitchery that I won from Trish @ Me 2 U Primitives
My picnic baskets, flower in a grunge coffee pot,old iron, crock with my fake fern and some cement yard decor. It was just too cute to put it outside. Plus I'm enjoying it a lot more in the house....lol
My yard sale and very first Raggedy Annie aka "Raggedy Angie" doll with some of my mags. I also made the star with some pip berries on the basket.
Close up of the wreath I put together. I just sit stuff on my wreath and I have been lucky so far that nothing has fallen off.
Another close up of a grouping I did.
I just adore my old oak hutch. I would have to say that antique furniture in oak is my total favorite.
Close up of my flowers and end table grouping.
My other table is an old trunk. It comes in very handy for storing the game systems the kids have.
I made over the lamp. It is no longer gold. Who is their right mind would paint a wrought iron lamp gold. I like it much better in black.
My shelf I bought at the Goodwill for $5.00. That thing is so heavy. I was about half afraid to hang it on the way. I also made over the little oil lamp that is nestled in the ivy. it use to be a baby blue.
You'll have to excuse the ugly walls and red carpet. I'm not allowed to paint or pull up the carpet.
So as you can tell with my look I am cluttered primitive. I hope you enjoyed a tour of my living room.
