~My Craft Room~

I thought I would share some pictures of what I have recently done to my craft room.

 One of the corners in my room where I added a small shelf on the wall along with a scoop with ivy. In the corner I added a little stand that my dad gave me a while back. I never did anything to change it and I doubt if I will. I know it has the ugly blue backing but this table has some sentimental value to me. My dad made the stand for my mom when I was born. It use to hold my cloth diapers. I used it for my kids and now Im using it in my craft room.

Here is a better picture of the stand empty. My dad used what he had laying around the work shop to make it. I sure do miss my dad a lot. I use to tell him I wish I had something. Like a certain birdhouse. Sure enough, the next day, he would show up at my house with a birdhouse he made for me. It was way better than the one I wanted.
Sorry, Got a little side tracked there. Back to my room.

A dresser for my fabric. Which is getting a new paint job soon. I bet you'll never guess what color I am going to paint it. Purple!!!!! Yes I am going to paint is Canadian Black Raspberry. Im still not sure what color to do the knobs in. There are a few things I love about this dresser. It has deep drawers and this neat carving at the top trim.

I was thinking about painting the leaves green,stem brown and the berries orange. Im still thinking on that idea.
I also made a table cover with some fabric I found at the Goodwill. It only cost me $5.00.

It's nothing fancy. Just a simple cover to hide all my junk under the table.I left the ends open because the cats love playing under it. Their at hoot when they get started....lol

I had to move my book case to make room for my fabric dresser. My room is starting to come together.
