Trash to Treasure

It was that time again to fill up the hand soap bottles in the bathrooms and kitchen. I use the refillable ones that you get from Wal Mart.  I was looking at them and thinking how dull and ugly they were. Then all of a sudden a light bulb came on in my head. Lets make them primitive and this is what I came up with. I think they turned out pretty nice and I didnt have to spend a lot of money on a prim one.I even went to the Dollar Tree and bought 2 of their bottles(square ones) and did them too.

Thanks for stopping by....Patti

Hi Patti! What a great idea. I've peeled the label off my clear palmolive dishwash soap but never ever would have thought to do something like this!! Love all your spring touches too - I think it all looks great with your white walls. If you have a chance to go to AC more they have some peel n stick wall decor that look just like stencils. I used the star and berry vine ones and then took them down (because I'm nuts!) and they didn't leave any residue but looked like a stencil - just a thought if you want a temporary solution here and there to the white. To answer your question about the seeds in the jar - I bought those at Michaels in the dried flower section. They came in a bag of about 6/7 - but you could always just glue some small beans/seeds to the really small styrofoam balls for the same look! Have a fun weekend and glad you stopped by!!
