~Flea Market Part 2 or is it 3~

Well, I have decided to give the flea market a try.I went to visit the flea market earlier today. The shelving unit contains 6 shelves including the top one. It measures about 3' long and 12" apart. The monthly rent is reasonable and there is a 10% commission on everything I sale. It rents month to month. The lady at the flea market asked me to give it a try for one month to see if I would like it. She told me if I didn't like it, I could move out in 2 weeks after my first month of course. I told her I needed to think about it and I would get back with her. I really like the idea that Lisa from Moonlit Stitch came up with. That was a great idea. I think I am going to go with the name "Patti's Creations" for my booth. I just have to get permission from the manager before I  can do a sign. Part of the rules. No signs without approval. There is one thing that  I find is really weird. I have to give them an inventory list of everything I put in my booth so they can put it in their computer for record keeping. I have never heard of that. I never had to give anyone else an  inventory list of my items. I'm going to have her explain that one to me. Well that pretty much it in a nutshell.

They want the list so they can make their 10% on everything you sell......I don't like places that take part of the sales...just sayin'...good luck!

Hi, been reading your flea market posting, and I find it odd they want a commission besides the rent. I know 10% isn't much, but..... If you do good, I guess it may not matter. Since she's giving you a month to try, try it. Don't have too much to lose, except the rent.
